Exchanging Experiences: Overcoming Challenges Together

Dear colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the EHA-HSB Haematology Tutorial 2025, Dhaka – an educational event focused primarily on malignant haematology.

This tutorial will offer an interactive learning experience, concentrating on challenges faced by hematologists in developing countries with resource-poor facilities.

The field of malignant haematological disorders is progressing rapidly in both diagnostic and therapeutic perspectives. Developing countries continue working to adopt world-class management protocols.

The proposed eight sessions on haematological malignancies will feature lectures by renowned EHA experts alongside case presentations by Bangladeshi speakers. Through presentations and discussions, attendees will learn cutting-edge management approaches from standard facilities, as well as solutions experts in developing countries employ to overcome constraints.

A wide range of complex real-life cases and topics have been selected to address diverse interests within malignant haematology. Each session will include audience questions, self-assessment, and panel discussions.

The EHA-HSB Haematology Tutorial 2025, Dhaka is designed exclusively for haematologists, paediatric haematologist-oncologists, haematopathologists, and transfusion medicine specialists involved in managing haematological conditions.

Whether you are an above-mentioned specialist or a senior Bangladeshi trainee in haematology, you will benefit from in-depth case discussions, interactive sessions, and the latest evidence-based recommendations.

This is primarily an in-person event. Interested specialists from outside Bangladesh may participate virtually.

Warm regards,
EHA & HSB Organizing Committee

HSB Logo
Haematology Society of Bangladesh (HSB)

The Haematology Society of Bangladesh is the representative organization and voice for all the haematologists in Bangladesh. The country's healthcare system has achieved significant progress since independence in 1971, and is rapidly advancing toward international standards.

Nevertheless, a large segment of the population remains beyond reach of standard haematology care due to poverty, lack of public awareness, and inadequate education facilities. The Haematology Society of Bangladesh was established to raise public awareness about the nature, prevalence, prevention, and management of hematological disorders in Bangladesh; to foster unity among the nation's hematologists; to protect members' professional interests and dignity.

The society is committed to serving as a platform for delivering haematology and related disorder treatments; advancing medical education to international standards; providing resources, knowledge, and initiatives for doctors, healthcare providers, and the public regarding haematology.

A key aim of HSB is to establish collaborative partnerships with national and international organizations in the field of haematology. To achieve this objective, HSB regularly conducts public awareness campaigns and educational programs in collaboration with various domestic and international partners.
